Hi there! Welcome to the Heart of Kent Gaming website. We are a not for profit, community based games group in Kent that offers table top board gaming and role playing games, currently based in the small but mighty village of Hollingbourne in Maidstone, Kent.
Our mission is simple: bring people together to enjoy board games and RPGs (role playing games) in a space that is inclusive, friendly and safe.
Currently, we specialise in hosting opportunities to play Dungeons and Dragons, otherwise known as DnD, a very popular and well liked RPG. So far, we have 3 DND tables for 18+ years, 1 Path Finders table and a junior’s table (11-18 years). However, we are also open to other tabletop gamers.
A club like this doesn’t happen by magic. It takes the work of dedicated volunteers who give their time freely to help. These include our Dungeon Masters (DMs) who run the DnD tables and the committee who oversee the running and development of the group. They are a tremendous asset to us and their help is invaluable.
So, if you’re wanting to meet new people, make friends, try something different, engage in an adventure, then why not pop down to see us?
Where are we based? Downswood Community Association, Chiltern Close, Downswood, Maidstone ME15 8XG
When do we meet? Every Friday from 7pm to 10pm though doors open at 6:45pm for set up.
How much does it cost? £5 per session, if you are playing. However, those that act as DMs do not have to pay as they are volunteering to run a campaign. First two sessions for any new comer is free.
